Clinical Experience
I have been in private practice since 2002. I work with patients on an individual basis at a minimum of once per week online. Previously I have provided individual and group treatment of inpatient and outpatient populations in several mental health clinics and teaching hospitals in the New York City metropolitan area.
Research Experience
My research analyzed the quality of therapeutic relationships and their potential to impact the success of treatment.
I worked for five years as a research assistant on a National Institute of Mental Health research project studying various forms of short-term psychotherapy at Beth Israel Medical Center including cognitive-behavioral, supportive and interpersonal modalities.
Academic Experience
I graduated from New York University's Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis in 2014 and earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2000 in from Yeshiva University. All of my academic and clinical training experiences took place at APA-approved programs.
